Events:

July 2006 - Spoke to a church group in Thorold about the possibility of a new seniors housing project.  The concept is still under discussion.  Other churches may become involved.

May 2006 - Construction started on Bethlehem Projects new development on James Street in St. Catharines.  While specifically for seniors, many of the apartments are one bedroom units ideal for retired folks who would like to live in the downtown. 

May 2005 - Made a presentation at the Healthy Cities Seniors Fair at the CAW hall in St. Catharines.  

June 21, 2002 - "Staying in Your Own Home - If Possible" We presented a public seminar to area seniors on strategies for living comfortably without moving. The event was held Central Ave. senior's centre in Beamsville.  About 25 attended and many contributed their own insights as the difficulties and successes of not moving.
